Easy Peach Cobbler

SERVES: 8 PERSONS
Ingredients:
- 3 cups sliced peaches, about 5 peaches
- 2 cups sugar, divided
- ½ cup water
- 2 tsp. the ground cinnamon, divided
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven at 350℉. In a 3-quart casserole dish, put butter. Place the casserole dish in the preheating oven, so the butter melts.
- In a saucepan add peach, 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon powder, water and stir in mid-high heat for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- In a mixing bowl add flour, sugar, milk, cinnamon and mix well.
- Take out the casserole dish from the oven. Spread melted butter in the dish with a spoon or brush.
- Now put the sugared peach layer on the dish. Then the batter layer. Sprinkle it with powdered sugar or ground cinnamon.
- Bake it for 45-50 minutes without cover, until the batter gets golden brown colour & crispy texture.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or maple syrup.

Notes:
- Fresh or canned peaches both are preferable for this recipe. But fresh peaches taste better.
- I am using peeled peaches, you can use peerless peaches.
- Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves or dry fruits can be used as a topping.
Storage Tips:
- Leftover cobbler may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in an airtight box.
- Reheat a serving size Peach Cobbler for 30 seconds in the microwave oven.
