Oat Topping

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup old-fashioned oats

  • ½ cup light brown sugar

  • ¼ cup chopped pecans

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ¼ cup butter 

  • Blueberry 

  • Raspberry

For The Apple Filling

  • 2 lbs. Granny Smith apples, room temperature (peeled, cored, and sliced thin)

  • ¼ cup butter 

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp water

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • ½ tsp vanilla

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • 1 pinch salt


Step01-To Make the Topping:

  • In a large enough bowl combine mix all-purpose flour, old-fashioned oats, light brown sugar, chopped pecans, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, Blueberry, Raspberry. Finally, add butter & mix.
  • Chill the topping mixture in the fridge.

Step02-To Make the Filling:

  • In a bowl combine butter, all-purpose flour,milk, lemon juice, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, pinch salt & mix until all are incorporated.
  • Add sliced apples & mix so that apples are fully coated with filling.


  • In the baking pan place one layer of apple filling. Topped with topping. Bake for 30-40 minutes at a 375 degree preheated oven.
  • Cool the Apple Crips for at least 10 minutes before serving.
  • Seve Apple Crisp with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or caramel sauce.
