Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza

Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza

INGREDIENTS:


For Pizza Dough,

  • 1 cup of warm water 
  • 1 envelope active dry yeast (21g)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 3 teaspoons salt 

For Pizza Topping,

  • 1cup pizza sauce
  • 1pack  pepperoni or regular size
  • 6 ounces Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Garnish(optional),

  • Fresh cherry tomatoes split in half
  • Fresh basil

INSTRUCTIONS:

Pizza Dough Prep,

  • In a cup add warm water, yeast & sugar, mix until sugar dissolves. 
  • In a large bowl add flour, salt, oil. mix it. Make a well in this dry mixture, pour warm yeast mixture. Knead for 5-7minutes.Add some warm water if needed .
  • Mix until the dough just comes together. Place dough in a lightly greased bowl. Cover with foil paper and allow it to rise once. Chill it in the refrigerate it for at least 6 hours to up to 24 hours.

Pizza Prep:

  • After 24 hours knead the dough for 2-3 minutes ,and roll it over to your pizza pan.
  • Heat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit ,20 minutes to heat up.
  • Prepare mozzarella cheese and pepperoni (other topping as your choice).


  • Place dough in the pizza pan, top with pizza sauce.
  • Add a thin layer of  cheese, a layer of pepperoni, and again another thin layer of cheese on top of the pepperoni. Sprinkle some oregano.
  • Bake at 450 F for 10 -15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  • Serve hot with your favourite sauce.

Tips For Perfect Pizza:

  • For dough you can use warm milk instead of warm water.
  • Knead dough with your hands if possible.
  • Chill the dough at least for 6 hours for a perfect crust pizza.
  • Topping is totally a personal thing, you can make your pizza with olive, sweet corn, chicken, beef, capsicum, basil .I Like cheese & pepperoni combination.
  • Try to serve warm ,as pizza cools down, cheese becomes hard.

Storage Tips:

  • It will stay fresh for 6-10 hours in an airtight container.
  • Place unbaked  pizzas in the freezer, for 4-6 hours. Then place inside a large zip-top freezer bag.
  • Reheat: 450 Degree F for 15-20 minutes.
