Ingredients:
Cake:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup spiced apple butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1½ cups sugar
- ½ cup butter softened
- 1 package cream cheese softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4 to 5 tablespoons milk
- 1½ teaspoons light corn syrup
- ½ teaspoon vanilla or whiskey
Instructions:
Step01-Make Glaze:
- Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 10-inch tube pan or 12-cup Bundt pan with butter. Finally dust some flour.
- In a small bowl put powdered sugar, milk, light corn syrup & vanilla & whisk for minutes. Set aside.
Step01-Make batter:
- In a large bowl gather flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt & mix. In another bowl, whisk apple butter and vanilla for a couple of minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar, butter, and cream cheese for 3-5 minutes or until a fluffy texture. Add eggs, beating well. Add flour mixture & mix then apple butter mixture, mixing at low speed until blended. Stir in pecans.
Step03-Bake the cake:
- Spoon batter into prepared pan. Make a line in batter & put apple butter. Bake 60 to 70 minutes. Place baked cake in a rack for 10 minutes to cool completely.
