How to Bake a Codfish

Serves 4 person
Ingredients:
4 cod fillets
3 tablespoons butter, softened at room temperature
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons parsley, chives, thyme, or other herbs, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 tsp lemon juice
salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Step01- Make garlic-herb butter
In a small mixing bowl put soften butter, minced garlic, herbs, paprika, lemon juice,
salt, ground black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
Step02-Marinate Codfish:
Pre-heat oven at 200℃/400℉. Pat your fillets with a kitchen towel or tissue to
remove excess water. In a baking dish place codfish fillets. Put garlic-herb butter on
each fillet. Coat both sides of fillets with the mixture. Drizzle some olive oil & pepper. Cover & rest for 30 minutes in the fridge.
Step03-Baking:
Place marinated fish in the mid rack of the preheated oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes or
until cod fillets are opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Step04:Serving:
Remove from oven & rest for 5 minutes. Serve with rice or statue veggies.
