Easy Garlic Butter Chicken

Easy Garlic Butter Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken breast tenders
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 spinach brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

 Instructions:

  • Wipe the chicken tenders dry to remove any excess liquid. 
  • Place the chicken in a large bowl. Add the lemon juice, paprika, minced garlic, salt, pepper, brown sugar and melted butter and stir to combine evenly. Cover the bowl with foil paper or kitchen towel or put it in the fridge and marinate for 10 minutes or up to 8 hours.
  • After the marination is done, preheat the grill or grill pan to medium heat. 
  • Place the chicken tenders on the grill, being careful not to flip them. Cook for 4-5 minutes on both sides, until the juices run clear.
  • If your chicken breasts look dry during cooking, brush some butter.
  • Remove the chicken breast from the grill and allow the chicken to rest for a couple minutes before serving.
  • Serve with fresh coriander. This garlic butter chicken can be served as a side dish or in a salad. Also in sandwich or burger. Enjoy! 
Some tricks & tactics for  juicy chicken breast:

  • Whenever possible buy organic chicken breast.
  • Don’t forget to preheat the non-stick pan or grill pan for 2 minutes at least before placing the chicken.
  • You can use chicken things instead of breast. I love to make this recipe with boneless skinless chicken breasts.  It's totally a personal choice.
  • If you want a more juicy chicken breast, add two extra tablespoons of butter at marination time.
  • For the nice colourful chicken breast add brown sugar. Even you can ignore it.
  • If you are a spices lover, add more paprika and Italian seasoning. Add cumin, coriander, garlic powder and any other seasoning of your preference. Also, don’t forget the salt and pepper. Add all the spices and season your chicken breasts.
  • Make sure to not over toss  the garlic because it will change the taste of the entire dish.
  • If you’re avoiding butter, replace it with olive oil or  Ghee.

Storage Tips: 

  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container. They will be fresh for up to 4 days.
  • Marinated chicken breasts are perfect for storing. Place chicken breast in a zip lock bag or airtight container. To cook frozen Garlic butter chicken, remove it from the fridge at least 5-7 minutes before cooking. Frozen garlic butter chicken is evenly tasty & juicy as fresh.
